Celebration times two: expansion of the transshipment warehouse and 45 years of Transland Spedition
At ZUFALL logistics group in Haiger, there were two special occasions to celebrate recently.
First, the expansion of our transshipment warehouse by 2,076 square metres has been completed, enabling us to process even more orders in the future and exceed the current number of shipments per day. Additionally, Transland Spedition, which has been part of ZUFALL logistics group since 2007, celebrated its 45th anniversary with a big party attended by about 600 guests, including employees, their families, and our customers.
The 4:1 mission: an idea with great consequences
A customer buys 18 different items from various suppliers in Asia, totaling over 200,000 pieces, and wants to deliver them as assortments packed in displays to various central warehouses.
In the past, these items were imported from Asia ready packed in displays. In 2022, this process changed, and the displays have been packed in Göttingen ever since. Why is that?

DISASTER RELIEF AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE
A powerful earthquake in Turkey and Syria claimed millions of victims. “When I saw the news about the scale of the earthquake, I knew that these people needed enormous support,” ZUFALL employee Selma Arslan says, who was particularly involved in the campaign.
Together with some of our customers and partners we at ZUFALL collected donations and organised their transport to Turkey.

Logimate is our logistics company that stands for individual packaging, innovation and sustainability. With Logimate, the shipping process is individually optimised for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as start-ups. The young team consists mainly of women. Also, women exclusively occupy management positions.
