Celebration times two: expansion of the transshipment warehouse and 45 years of Transland Spedition

At ZUFALL logistics group in Haiger, there were two special occasions to celebrate recently.
First, the expansion of our transshipment warehouse by 2,076 square metres has been completed, enabling us to process even more orders in the future and exceed the current number of shipments per day. Additionally, Transland Spedition, which has been part of ZUFALL logistics group since 2007, celebrated its 45th anniversary with a big party attended by about 600 guests, including employees, their families, and our customers.
FIT FOR THE FUTURE: ZUFALL reorganizes management board

Jürgen Wolpert (65) is stepping down from the management board at the end of August due to his age but will remain part of the company. In his new position within the management team, he will continue to be responsible for the Overland Transport, Night Star Express, and Cooperation divisions.
AWARD FOR ZUFALL THE HAMBURG FAMILY SEAL OF APPROVAL

At the end of November 2023, Team Trans Hamburg GmbH, as a company of our ZUFALL logistics group, received the “Hamburger Familiensiegel”, the Hamburg Family Seal, at a ceremony in the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce.
Along with ZUFALL Hamburg, over 70 other companies from industry, trade, services and crafts were honoured.
Together into the Future: ZUFALL X John Spedition GmbH in Eichenzell

ZUFALL is taking over 100 percent of Spedition John GmbH in Eichenzell (east Hesse) on August 1st, 2023. John Spedition will remain an independent company at the location within our group. We are thus growing to eleven locations throughout Germany.

DISASTER RELIEF AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE

A powerful earthquake in Turkey and Syria claimed millions of victims. “When I saw the news about the scale of the earthquake, I knew that these people needed enormous support,” ZUFALL employee Selma Arslan says, who was particularly involved in the campaign.
Together with some of our customers and partners we at ZUFALL collected donations and organised their transport to Turkey.

Ottobock and Zufall provide immediate aid. More than 4,000 people have been injured in the devastating explosion in Beirut. Together with the Ottobock Global Foundation, the internationally active medical technology company Ottobock based in Duderstadt is providing immediate aid and sending more than 100 wheelchairs to Beirut. „The people need our support quickly now.
