ZUFALL ESTABLISHES A DUAL LEADERSHIP IN HAIGER

Since 1 October 2019, the ZUFALL branch in Haiger has been managed by a dual leadership team for the first time: The logistics service provider has appointed two experienced managers to manage the branch at Transland Spedition GmbH. In this way, ZUFALL logistics group would like to continue the growth course of its branch in Central Hesse.

Just in time for the start of the fourth quarter, Maja Heimerl and Meik Hilk are jointly taking over as branch managers at Transland Spedition in Central Hesse, a company of the ZUFALL logistics group. Its managing partner Peter Müller-Kronberg emphasises, „Both have acquired expertise in the industry over years at the location, built up a profound network in the ZUFALL family and collected numerous merits as managers.“

Maja Heimerl was previously the commercial manager at Transland. Meik Hilk was responsible for the important area of land transport in Europe. The two specialists have thus played a significant role in the growth of Transland Spedition Haiger in recent years. This is shown by the positive results in the area of land transport in Germany and Europe, in local transport and in transhipment. In addition, the location has been an agent of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in the area of air freight since spring 2019 and can offer optimised processes in the area of air freight. It is therefore only logical to entrust both personalities with the management of the branch and to give them significant responsibility for the further growth at the location.

The change in leadership brings with it a novelty: Maja Heimerl is the first woman to be appointed to the position of branch manager in the ZUFALL Group. The management of the logistics service provider would like to send a clear signal to the female staff to recommend themselves for management positions.

„Our special thanks go to Torsten Pansegrau. As the previous branch manager, together with his management team, he was responsible for the economic growth at the location, created new structures and worked to expand the site,“ Peter Müller-Kronberg says. Torsten Pansegrau is leaving the company at the end of October to take up a new professional challenge in his Hanseatic home of Hamburg.
