Whether through data-driven logistics, the cultural change in the industry or the climate crisis: the world of logistics is becoming increasingly complex – a challenge for us all. “We as a company cannot bear the new challenges alone. That’s why we need multiple perspectives and new thinking to be successful,” Steffen Obermann, head of zufall.lab – our innovation hotbed, explains.<\/p>\n

The Logistics Summit: The new trade fair for innovation and digitalisation in logistics<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Logistics Summit is about the future. Unlike LogiMAT – which is about which solutions should be used to become more efficient – here it is about the need for networking in order to remain successful in the face of the challenges ahead.<\/p>\n

The sustainability discussion on the main stage was led by Mark Henkel, Managing Director of our Investment Arm zu na mi. Making logistics sustainable – we at ZUFALL anchored this claim in our corporate mission statement. For Mark Henkel, the exchange was therefore a special experience. “To have a discussion with panel guests from business, science and young companies about precisely the topics that are such an important concern for ourselves was a great pleasure for me. It showed that we are not alone and that ZUFALL developed a resilient network in the field of sustainability”.<\/p>\n

Networking to be fit for the future<\/strong><\/p>\n

We need comrades-in-arms who also think logistics in a new way. Because we are convinced that innovation happens at interfaces where people come into contact with each other.<\/p>\n

That’s why we visited more than 20 start-ups at the Logistics Summit that dealt with important future topics in logistics. These include:<\/p>\n

  • \u2022 Autonomous logistics robots<\/li>\n
  • \u2022 New software solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Whether Motion Miners for process improvement, ShipZero for CO2<\/sub> measurements and management or cooperation partners such as the DigitalHub Logistics, a building with over 80 logistics start-ups in Hamburg – we met many exciting and inspiring people from whom we would like to learn.<\/p>\n
